Why I joined direct sales in the first place
From the moment I first heard the words “first-of-its-kind peptide is going to revolutionize wellness,” something inside me lit up. I just knew this was the rocket ship I wanted to be a part of.
I had already been in direct sales for 10 years. I joined the industry very simply at first, just to help pay for my boys to play baseball when they were little. As a stay-at-home mom with a husband in the ministry and money tight, I still remember walking into the grocery store with a calculator in hand, saying no to everything extra.
Vacations, dinners out, even small splurges all felt out of reach. Deep down, I longed for more. More options, more flexibility, more breathing room so our family wouldn’t feel like we were always drowning financially.
The turning point
I knew I was willing to work hard, so I jumped in. What I didn’t know at the time was that direct sales would become a catalyst, teaching me leadership, pulling out skills I didn’t even know I had, and giving me the chance to watch myself grow.
Fast forward to the summer of 2024. One Zoom call disrupted everything. My company had decided to change its structure, and suddenly I found myself at a crossroads asking, “Am I done?”
Meeting Justin Prince
And then I met Justin Prince. From the moment I heard him speak, I was marked by his sheer conviction that he could help families. I couldn’t see every step of the path in front of me, but I knew in my spirit that this was the company—the one that would impact future generations. And I wanted to be part of that mission.
The vision was there, but those first days? They were wild. Exhilarating. Crazy. And yet, I couldn’t get over how many people instantly saw the vision too. Before I knew it, we were beginning our own wellness journey transformations, and something inside of me knew I was about to get healthier than I had ever been.
Pinch-me moments
Every single product. Every single time I heard about the vision. Every single leadership call. It all kept turning out to be better than expected. I found myself literally pinching my arm thinking, “Is this real?”
Could I actually be part of one of the greatest health movements in history?
Could I really be helping lead an opportunity for everyday families in the future?
The answer, again and again, has been yes.
Why this journey matters
Not just yes in terms of health. Not just yes in terms of monetary potential. But yes in terms of the movement of people. The greater collective genius. The industry leaders, the corporate staff, the incredible humans who continue to come together for the greater good.
Looking back, I will never take for granted that God slammed one door shut so that I could have the eyes to see this one wide open.
This journey with MAKE Wellness has been a bigger blessing to me and my family than I thought it would be. It is about making a difference in the world. Truly making a difference. And I have found that here. And for that, I will forever be humbled and grateful.
